Who Are We?

CrossFit Whitchurch is a family run business owned by husband and wife David & Sarah Wilson. Coaches Tilly, Levi, Bob & Tracey are all family members too. What makes our gym different is that we are all one big family. We have started many life long friendships and have created an amazing community of people.

CrossFit is challenging, rewarding, addictive and fun! Look and feel better while becoming the fittest you have ever been, no matter what your background. At CrossFit Whitchurch we provide top class instruction and a proven training programmes in a sociable environment.

Our passionate, experienced coaches use elements from the world’s most successful training programmes to teach people of all ages and abilities to move more effectively and perform better at life. This is always done in supportive small group sessions and will deliver measurable improvements in all aspects of your fitness, and body shape, fast!

With constantly varied programming, the usual boring, repetitive gym training is revitalised through the challenge of learning new skills, progressing through various levels, and enjoying some healthy competition between friends – this truly is the sport of fitness!

“ Having frequented many traditional gyms over the course of the past 10 years, I have always found the "do what you've always done...get what you've always got" phrase always rings true.

I have found these gyms to be soulless places where I tended to be training alone and using machines to aid my workout. The results were always the same, i would lose a bit of weight, bulk a bit, hit a plateau then give up out of boredom after 5 months.

When I found out that a good friend of mine had started a CrossFit gym 5 minutes from where I live I thought I would give it a go as I have had tasters before but at that time didn't feel it was for me.

CrossFit Whitchurch was completely different, I was welcomed by all the athletes on my first visit, Coach David is super knowledgeable, encouraging and makes you work hard as do all the athletes I train with.

It is like a family, I have made many new friends and met up with people I already knew, I can now proudly state that I am addicted to CrossFit. Every workout is different, it is all functional exercises and in the main the exercises are easy to perform. 2 months in and I am pretty much where I was after 5 months in the gym except I am nowhere near a plateau and certainly not bored.
